The Tommie L. Smith Foundation was built on a simple belief: every young person deserves the opportunity to be part of something positive, regardless of their circumstances. In many communities today, the rising costs of youth sports and programs have created barriers that leave too many kids on the sidelines. What was once supported by community has, over time, become inaccessible for those who need it most.

Our mission is to restore that sense of community by providing resources, support, and opportunities for youth to grow through sports, mentorship, and structured programs. We are committed to creating environments where young athletes feel supported, seen, and empowered—on and off the field.
